The SW Hay and Forage Conference will be held Jan. 21 - 23 at the Ruidoso Convention Center, 111 Sierra Blanca Drive.
Two special guest speakers will discuss successful farm transitions and water issues in the west. Fee is $150 by Dec. 31 or $175 afterwards. Membership dues are $65. 5 CEUs available.
The TexMex Horse Judging Clinic will be held Feb. 14, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. MST, Roosevelt County Fairgrounds, 705 East Lime Street.
Youth will judge video classes and work on reasons in small groups. Youth should bring their own judging notebooks and pencils. Online registration available! Fee is $50 for youth; $15 for adults; payable with credit card only. Deadline: Feb. 4 at 5 p.m.
